This is my first challenge with Happy Scrapz http://happyscrapz.forumup.com/index.php?mforum=happyscrapz. I incorporated two challenges into one layout. First Challenge was the Surprise Challenge of a monthly theme. This month is Outdoor Fun. Second challenge was to use any two elements supplied within the Grab Bag. I chose Jessica Gorny's RicRac, colored it to match my Layout, and the cardboard piece, and again, colored to match my Layout.

Since it is now 3:20am I think I will stop and give hubby's laptop a break, as well as my shoulders. I am without my PC for over 2 weeks, so I can't over heat hubby's toy or I will be SOL. ROFL. Please let me know what you think of the latest layout. Thanks and have a great day. ...... Hugs, Kelly

Digital Diva's Swatch Challange Kit

Here is my second attempt at making a kit. You can't tell by the preview, however some of the pattern paper have old world compasses on them, as the color swatch was called "Raging Sea". I tried to incorporate some of that within the kit. I know I need to work on making elements. Anyone that makes their own kits that want to share their secrets, please contact me. I would love to know how it's down. Even the simple things like paperclips and the other style of clips like you would use to hold a photo in place (round on top and then comes to a dull point) The preview does NOT show everything, as I couldn't fit everything in there. I hope someone will like it. Please don't forget to leaeve me a comment. Thanks.

Here is my first Challenge and I think my 2nd LO ever. I used AmyW Scrap-A-Lot Christmas Kit as well as her Template #10. Here is the URL to her Blog http://scrap-a-lot.blogspot.com/ Amy also includes and has added instructions to her templates as to how to use her templates, both in PSP and PS. HINT: If you are working in PSP, click the eye on all the layers, except the one you are working on. Keep them invisible and "reopen" them as you work your way up. But always make sure you have the layer you are working on highlighted. I couldn't believe how easy it was and I am just a beginner who is seriously intimidated by trying new things.

As far as the picture, it was taken at my wedding reception. My grandma was my Matron of Honor and my husband's boys (then 6 & 2) were also part of the ceremony, as we felt when I married him, I married them as well. Well you know what I mean, I hope. He felt left out because no one would dance with him, and didn't understand the etiquette of the situation, so Grandma and I were trying to teach him to move with the music. Everyone had a great time, even though it was an old time country reception. Some family, one or two friends, and that was it.

Well I have blabbed enough. I am not a real good at doing this so don't be surprised if no one sees me on here for weeks and then I blog some then gone again. Not one to publish all my thoughts for all to read, which might be good therapy. LOL
